The Creative Workforce Initiative (CWI) is an international collaboration between scholars who specialise in the creative industries, the labour market, and higher education. Directed by Professor Dawn Bennett, CWI has since 2010 undertaken research within four thematic areas:
- Creative industries work and career
- Post-secondary education and training
- The artist academic
- Practice-based research
CWI associates are engaged in multiple funded and unfunded projects involving gendered career characteristics, music work and careers, employability, and the creative industries labour market.
